At SoftShareHub, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. If you wish to delete your account or request the deletion of your personal data, we provide an easy-to-follow process to make sure your request is handled efficiently and in compliance with data protection regulations.

Option 1: Self-Deletion of Your SoftShareHub Account

If you wish to delete your SoftShareHub account, you can do so easily by following these simple steps:

  1. Log In to Your Account
    • Visit the SoftShareHub login page and enter your account credentials.
  2. Access Account Settings
    • Once logged in, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page.
    • Select “Account Settings” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Navigate to Account Deletion
    • Scroll down to the “Privacy Settings” section.
    • Click on the “Delete Account” option.
  4. Confirm Your Deletion Request
    • You will be prompted to confirm your decision to delete your account.
    • Click “Confirm” to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Important Notes:

  • Once your account is deleted, all your personal data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
  • If you experience any issues with the deletion process, please reach out to our support team at support@softsharehub.com.

Option 2: Request Account Deletion via Support Team

If you are unable to delete your account through the self-service method, or if you would like SoftShareHub to delete your account on your behalf, you can submit a request to our support team:

  1. Email Request:
    • Send an email to privacy@softsharehub.com or support@softsharehub.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request“.
    • Include the following details in your email:
      • Full name
      • Username
      • The email address associated with your account
  2. Contact Form Request:
    • Visit our Contact Us page.
    • Select “Privacy Inquiry” from the subject dropdown menu.
    • Provide your account details and mention that you wish to delete your account.

What Happens Next:

  • Our privacy team will review your request and process it within 30 days.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted.

GDPR Compliance and Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data. SoftShareHub fully respects your right to privacy and strives to comply with all applicable data protection laws.

As part of your rights under GDPR, you can request the following:

What Happens After Your Account Is Deleted?

Once your account is deleted, all personal information, including but not limited to your account details, saved preferences, and any other data associated with your account, will be permanently removed from our system. This action is irreversible.

If you ever decide to return to SoftShareHub after account deletion, you will need to create a new account.
